A 10 minute walk from Surbiton Station, with 20 minute trains from Waterloo, the Island is ideally placed for visitors from Central London. We are also close to the M25, Heathrow Airport, and the attractions of Surrey and the Home Counties. When you step off the private ferries and onto our gorgeous island, you couldn’t feel further from the hustle and bustle of the big city.


Our Marquee is the largest space on the island. This picturesque area is situated at the front of the island and offers unrivalled views of the river Thames and Hampton Court grounds. With ivory linings it offers a real blank canvas ready for you to add your own twist and make it your own.

It is light and airt, perfect for summer parties, conferences and awards dinners. Turning the heaters on in the winter, it provides a stunning riverside space for Christmas festivities. The adjoining Front Lawn is the perfect space for our popular summer BBQs and team building activities doe up to 400 people.

       Britannia Suite

The Britannia Suite is situated in the main building with views of the Thames from two sides and a terrace overlooking Hampton Court grounds. It has it’s own private bar and can acater for meetings as well as private dining events and dinner dances.

This flexible space is great all your round, warm and cosy in the winter with it’s hard wood flooring and fairy light curtain. In the summer, the bi folding doors can be opened completely on one side, turning the terrace into an extension of the whole room.

       Thames Suite

Thames Suite adjoining our Reception, the Thames Suite is a multi-functional space that can easily be divided into two rooms or opened up for larger functions. This flexible space has outstanding views across the river to home park and comes with it’s own terrace.

The room is decorated with neutral tones, a newly laid hard wood floor and benefits from natural daylight courtesy of floor to ceiling windows along the full length room.

The Lambourne Suite is predominantly used as a smaller break out space for clients hiring a larger space in the main building, or for private dining.

As a dedicated event space, corporate clients have the option of hiring the whole island, The Marquee plus lawns or Main Building as two separate spaces, or individual rooms. We have the capacity and space to host multiple events, whilst making sure your event feels exclusive and private. This means that no matter the size of your meeting or event, you’ll always have the perfect space for professional, transquil, and productive corporate gatherings.

If it’s drinks you’re after, we have two fully stocked bars on the island in our two largest spaces, The Britannia Suite and Marquee. We also provide drinks packages, anything from unlimited drinks to a simple bar tab where you can order MeanTime Ale, Bathtub Gin, a bottle of Prosecco or a nice glass of Merlot.
